Research Behind the Campaign
Through a partnership with the South Carolina Department of Social Services, Children’s Trust of South Carolina commissioned SRS Group LLC to conduct a multi-phase research initiative examining how communication between child care providers and parents influences trust, engagement and child development outcomes.
Statewide focus groups and surveys conducted with parents and child care professionals in fall 2023 and fall 2024 explored specific communication experiences and challenges, identifying opportunities to strengthen provider–parent partnerships. Launching in February 2026, the “In This Together” awareness campaign applied these findings.
